Springboard Atlantic

About

Springboard is a member-based organization dedicated to growing the innovative economy by connecting industry and researchers to solve real-world problems. It provides early-stage support to help commercialize research intellectual property with strong market potential and is supported by ACOA and its network members. Members engage these communities in two primary ways: by pairing organizations seeking research and development support with specialized researchers across 14 universities and 5 colleges in Atlantic Canada, and by offering programming that supports the commercialization of post-secondary research. By facilitating the flow of valuable research from universities and colleges into the broader economy, Springboard plays a key role in accelerating innovation across Atlantic Canada.
