Join techNL Mission Partner Stewart McKelvey for a complimentary morning speaker session featuring engaging panel discussions on trending issues in the tech sector. Topics will be moderated by Stewart McKelvey lawyers specializing in technology law, joined by local tech industry leaders who will be sharing their expertise and unique perspectives and offering invaluable insights. In our last session of the day, two of our Labour and Employment lawyers will be hosting an interactive session where attendees will have their say on which topics are discussed.

Topics to be discussed include:

·         Corporate growth and development: Diverse pathways to success with Colin Ryan, COO & CFO of Solace Power and advisor to Sift Med Inc.;
Gerard Duggan, Vice President, eGovernment & Enterprise of Vision33 and Stewart McKelvey partners Tauna Staniland, K.C. (St. John’s) and Gavin Stuttard (Halifax).

·         IP tips for software based businesses with Rob Forsythe, Co-Founder & CEO of Milk Moovement; Johanna Brown, Vice Chair, Board of Directors
at techNL and Principal Sales Strategist of Rivet and Stewart McKelvey partners Susan Norman (St. John’s) and Richard Hirsch (Halifax).

·         Employment challenges in the tech sector led by Stewart McKelvey Partner Ruth Trask with additional panelists to be confirmed.
